Founded by Egyptian-Ecuadorian architectural designer, Nora Gharib — Gharib Studio is a Miami-based design studio creating immersive spaces that prioritizes creating an emotional connection.

The focus is in the storytelling. In an era where we can purchase almost anything online, what does brick & mortar mean? Our approach is to translate and establish a clear brand. A creative approach through the architecture & design by collaborating directly with our clients every step of the way and defining their unique company identity. The exploration of how that translates into the physical world is an approach that inspires every aspect of the interior experience. Building a community between brand spaces and their customers, beyond just a transactional space. Which includes pushing the envelope beyond just a photo-op space and instead introduce a true third place. A place customers will want to visit multiple times for the experience and feel connected to. The mission is to transform the fabric of commercial design by creating a space that expresses the brand and creates an environment that resonates with a community.

“ I have a strong interest in human behavior and how the built environment can affect how we feel and interact. This philosophy has fueled my design career for years. During the pandemic lockdown, I began to explore an array of creative outlets, including content creating — this allowed me to connect with brands using social platforms and explore design through a different lens. My ability to understand three-dimensional built design, while also understanding two-dimensional design of brand identity has allowed me to push and question what retail & hospitality means today.”
